Do I have to go to court after I complete the course?
If you have more than 1 violation on your ticket you must satisfy all remaining violations with the court. Attending a defensive driving class dismisses only 1 moving violation.

How much does the class cost?
The court your citation is from determines the cost of the class. Calculate your costs.

How do I know if I'm eligible to take the class?
You are eligible to attend a defensive driving class once every year from violation date to violation date.

How long is the ticket dismissal class?
The course is approximately 4 - 4.5 hours long.

Who do I make the money order payable to?
Your money order should be made payable to: Arizona Defensive Driving School or AZDDS.

What do I need to bring to class?
Your ticket and any additional paperwork you may have received from the court, your driver's license or a government issued I.D., money order payable to Arizona Defensive Driving School or AZDDS, and a pen or a pencil.

How do I reschedule my class?
You can call our office at 480-905-4499 to reschedule.

Do you offer Spanish classes?
We do offer Spanish classes.

If the photo radar ticket isn't in my name what should I do?
You must send the "Declaration of Non-Driver" page to the court and contact the court for further instructions.

If I were involved in an accident, am I still eligible to attend a ticket dismissal class?
If there was a serious injury or a fatality you are not eligible to attend.

Can I take the course if I don't have a ticket?
Yes, you can take it as a "volunteer".

How does the court know I've completed the class?
If your citation is from Arizona we will notify the court of your completion. If you are attending a class for an out of state ticket you must notify the court yourself.
